Teton Grizzly

Captured just beyond the edge of Grand Teton National Park, this moment came unexpectedly. After leaving the park without a sighting, the quiet line of stopped cars along the roadside hinted at something more. Looking down into the shallow valley below, a lone grizzly moved steadily through the brush, unbothered, deliberate, and fully within its element.

Set against a landscape of muted grasses and early-season color, the bear becomes both part of the scene and its undeniable focus.
