Jones Lake

Jones Lake was never on my itinerary. I didn’t even know it existed.

I pulled in late at night somewhere deep in British Columbia, Canada, following the road until it led me to a campsite I could barely see in the dark. It was the off-season—completely empty. No other cars. No lights. Just silence… and danger and caution signs posted around the area that made me pause and second-guess my decision for a minute.

I slept there anyway.

And then morning came.

When the light finally hit the landscape, I realized I had stumbled into something far bigger than I ever expected. A grand, wild shoreline opened up in front of me...still water, towering mountains, and a feeling of untouched quiet that you only find in places most people never see.

This image was captured in that first breath of daylight, when I finally understood where I was and how lucky I was to be standing there with a camera. Jones Lake is a reminder of the beauty that finds you when you’re not searching for it… and the kind of calm that only exists far from everything.

This artwork is offered as an Open Edition print.
Open Edition means the image is not limited to a set number of prints and will remain available as part of my ongoing collection.

Because it is not a limited release, this piece will not include a hand signature, edition number, or Certificate of Authenticity. Instead, it’s designed to be an accessible way to bring the same museum-quality photography into your space—without the exclusivity rules of a Limited Edition.

Each piece is hand-stretched and expertly mounted within a refined floating frame that creates the illusion of the image “suspended” inside the frame. 📅 Shipping Timeline:
Please allow 2–6 weeks for production and delivery for Float Frame Canvases. Metal and Classic Borderless prints typically arrive in 2-3 weeks. Each piece is made-to-order and carefully inspected for quality before shipping.
