A Gathering of Seasons

Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada | Autumn 2016

During a spontaneous road trip through the Canadian Rockies in the fall of 2016, I found myself witnessing something remarkable: three seasons sharing a single mountainside.

At the base, a dense forest of evergreens held onto the rich greens of summer. Just above, golden larches illuminated the mountainside with the unmistakable colors of autumn. And towering overhead, the rugged limestone peaks wore a fresh blanket of snow, announcing winter's early arrival.

There was something amazing about seeing the seasons layered so perfectly together, each one holding its place in the landscape. From the warmth of summer's greens to autumn's brilliant golds and winter's quiet whites, the entire mountainside seemed to tell the story of a year in a single scene.

A Gathering of Seasons is a celebration of nature's remarkable transitions and the unexpected beauty found when one season has yet to leave and another has already begun.

The Limited Collection

Each piece in the Limited Collection is produced in small, signed editions and includes a certificate of authenticity. These works offer a balance between rarity and accessibility — created for collectors who value fine art craftsmanship without the exclusivity of the Reserved tier. Once the edition sells out, it will not be reprinted in this format.

• Classic Borderless Frameless Prints – Printed on museum-grade cotton rag paper in a lustre finish, perfect for custom framing. These have an archival life of 100 years in typical display conditions and 200 years in dark storage. This style does NOT come with a frame.

• Metal Print – Satin-finish vibrancy and vibrant color depth and detail; edge-to-edge imagery on aluminum with sleek, modern finish. Mounted on a 3/4" float mount with pre-cut hanging holes. This medium style does NOT come with a frame.

• Float Frame Canvas Pro – Museum-grade artistry and timeless presentation; printed on archival fine art canvas with exceptional color accuracy, depth, and texture. Each piece is hand-stretched and expertly mounted within a refined floating frame that creates the illusion of the image “suspended” inside the frame. Crafted in Italy, these canvases combine traditional craftsmanship with modern precision for unmatched quality and longevity. Ready to hang and built to last, this premium format brings warmth, dimension, and a gallery-level finish to any space.
