Kung Fu Rider, known in Japan as Matchi Suberi (街スベリ), and previously known as Slider, is an action video game for the PlayStation 3. The game was developed by Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for use with the PlayStation Move controller.[1] It was officially unveiled at the 2010 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.[1] It was released in 2010, and received mostly negative reviews from critics.

Players have to utilize the Move controller to navigate through the crowded streets of Hong Kong on a sliding office chair. Players can move the controller up and down to increase speed while tilting it left and right would turn the chair while tapping the Move button would cause the character to spin and kick items out of the way. Players can cruise through the streets hopping over cars, juke left, right and pick up money along the way which act as points in the game and sliding through onscreen ticket outlines which will boost the game's meter which can trigger a burst of speed by jabbing at the PlayStation Eye.

The game features realistic physics similar to the PlayStation Network game, Pain, where the player character will be sent off the chair in slow motion upon crashing or being hit by an enemy. As players proceed deeper into the game, Triad enemies begin appearing on the way and attempt to attack the player using Bō staffs.[2]

Duke loaded the bases with one out in the seventh inning, finally chasing Young from the game in the process. But Rider relief pitcher Christian Aiello struck out Alex Mooney before another reliever, Will Gallagher, fanned Andrew Fischer to keep the scored tied at 1.

Motorcycle traversal would and should be of the utmost importance, as it was in Days Gone. But a Ghost Rider game would also need fleshed out combat that felt authentically identifiable to the character. Motorcycle traversal was a unique staple that Days Gone implemented, but the remainder of open-world features and mechanics were too derivative of every other modern action-adventure game.

Bend is currently at work on an unannounced IP, and while some fans wish it was a Days Gone sequel, it will be exciting to see what is next for the developer. Some gamers may be skeptical about Bend developing a AAA Marvel title, but Bend would be aptly equipped to handle Ghost Rider. Bend could draw from its fantastic motorcycle traversal and expand upon its combat design in order to achieve an experience worthy of the Spirits of Vengeance.
